album art.... i love / loved it... now... im hoping you recognize at least one of these albums, if not... the first is miles davis' classic 'bitches brew', the other a legendary production by west african supergroup osibisa... maybe im a loser, but this is real music.
I digress... this blog is suppossed to be about cover art, so cover art it shall be about!
these covers represent something special, they are so Dali-esque its surreal (hmm do i detect a contadiction in terms??)
i suggest we take a look at these babies, and flicker through our own collection of pre 1994 funk / hip hop albums, reflect on the crap we see 2day and wonder what the hell is wrong with judging a book by its cover!...
